Summary: in this case its sorta, you get what you pay for. they could have done better. there was a lot of room for improvement and i was not pleased with the delivery of the game its self, it comes in a regular Xbox 360 game case with a divider, the case was cracked the divider was flopping around loosely and unattached.all are great games but there is aboslutely nothing diffrent about the games themselves as far as looks, HD promise is not what i had hoped for, and at some of...
Summary: I assumed that the product description of "3 classic Hitman games, each re-mastered in glorious HD" meant that the games had actually been remastered. I was expecting something like the Halo Anniversary Edition. These Hitman games appear to have no update whatsoever with regard to visuals or play, save the addition of achievements. Other than that, I could tell no difference between this "remastered" game and the originals.
Summary: I have only played through the first game but so far I am disappointed. This game only seems to highlight how dated the controls are. The packaging is ver nice and it's a great price for three classics.
Conclusion: Why is it you get a really good Hitman game like the Absolution one, and they have to re-release the previous 3, Blood Money is already out on 360 and PS3 why cant they ever start from the beginning. This is the biggest problem with these HD collection, they released all the Devil My Cry ones in HD so why not the very first Hitman instead of Blood Money, Blood Money is the most frustrating Hitman released.
Summary: First let me explain why 3 stars. Are the games bad? No, in fact I love the Hitman games and I would even go as far as to say these games are better than the new version “Hitman Absolution”. The reason it gets a 3 star is mainly due to the fact that you are paying for old games that have simply undergone a slight cosmetic lift. To be brutally honest the cosmetic lift isn’t even impressive.
Summary: Ok, I love Hitman and I am not slating the games... but. Hitman Blood Money still requires you to change your display settings... really? Is that needed?! Like, could IO have not sorted that out. I mean they say its now fully HD but that's lies. They just remastered Silent assassin and Contracts which look ok. Maybe some more work could have been done to them. Look at Riddick, now that is a fully remastered game from the original.
