Summary: Decent gameplay but it is VERY linear. I was hoping it would be like a modern day Assassin's Creed but, alas, it was not. Still fun, but can be very annoying because killing enemies AND knocking them out can lose you points. The game becomes either get a score of 2,000 after 6 hours of attempts or murder 59 people to get a score of -102,234.
Summary: Bought this in a fit of enthusiasm after playing Square Enix's excellent version of Tomb Raider. However it tuned out to be more like their tedious reworking of Deus Ex, so for me a boring and formulaic experience (you basically spend your time creeping about trying to stay out of people's eye line.
Summary: Absolution was a long wait for fans of the infamous Hitman series. Always known as a unique stealth third/first person simulator, the character Agent 47 just wasn’t as Hollywood as say, Sam Fisher or Solid Snake. 2012’s latest addition to the series, the first since 2006, popularises the concept into one which feels barely a fraction of Hitman, tied in with other mechanics of almost every other third-person game since yes, the previous instalment Blood Money.
Summary: I have been playing this game for several of hours, I absolutely loved it. It wasn't until the game suddenly froze at the beginning of level 14! So I thought this wasn't a problem so I turned my xbox off and turned it back on. When it came it said it couldn't find a saved profile so I had to start ALL over again but I'm not bothered too as I spent all my time doing so. So disappointed.
Summary: It is a good game, but it could be an excellent one, if the opportunity had been better used by the game producers. First of all, videos, cinematics, voice and graphics are excellent I have to give them that!! In an overall look the game is even fun to play, however, the in-game experience could be SO much better if only: a) They had a save game button we could use anytime we wanted in order to better explore game levels and challenges in different ways; or at least, if...
Summary: where do i start so many bad things about this game if you like the older version's.there is some good new ideas but the bad things over weight them .this is not a hitman game at all it all feels like a spider man game sneaking around from A to B throwing bottles & bricks to get guards to move & he even has a(spidersense)they call instinct mode which has destroyed the game !!! plus the disguises DOT NOT work even if you use up all your instinct meter.
Conclusion: I agree with dandanger's review. After playing all the hitman games I was looking forward to an improved all whistle and bells version that had been upgraded and maybe a couple of new features. Having to load a checkpoint was really bad, at one such load I was spotted everytime by guards that I had killed up to that point. If you don't finish a chapter you will have to do it all again when you go back to play it.
