Summary: The game itself is horrific. I was expecting a poor dance dance revolution clone and I got one that was painful to play. That being said, the included dance mat isn't good... but it certainly gets the job done. Buy it for the mat!
Summary: This review applies to the Xbox 360 version of the game. I have never played a dancing video game(though, I do have experience with rhythm games in Guitar Hero. I don't see how that'd help much in this case though) but I just felt as though this was too easy. I played the first time on the easiest difficulty level and I was getting A+s(the highest score) and even 100% on it without actually trying. I was still scoring high on the second difficulty level.
A Formulaic Dance Game that DOESN'T Use the Real Soundtrack

Summary: I was extremely dismayed when my daughter and I found that the game did not use the real vocals of the cast from the film for its songs. It's such a shame that the creators of the game did not use the tracks straight from the film. I mean, why even bother re-recording the songs? The singing is really poor, especially when compared to the original versions of the songs. The motion capture is really stiff and unrealistic.
