Summary: This was a great RPG. I liked that you had battle teams. There were some drawbacks. The sheer volume of graphics caused some issues and hanging on my X-Box. The game is clearly too advanced for the system you play it on, but you have Microsoft to blame for that...
Summary: i enjoyed the game-play very much. The Last Remnant has a unique battle system where you can have 1-5 players in a union that act as a single entity. As you get further in the game you unlock more unions you can have in your party and leaders (stronger than soldiers) and Soldiers that you can recruit at a guild.
Summary: I am an AVID Final Fantasy lover, so given that the newest title will not be released until December 2013, I figured I would find myself something else to fill the gap. Although this is a Square-Enix game, I was super concerned about the combat setup. After much review and some YouTube video time, I gave in and purchased. I couldn't have made a better choice. The gameplay is right up my alley.
Summary: There is only one bad thing i can say about this game and that is if your not in a movie scene then the lips to words while talking dont line up perfect. Game play is amazing its like a final fantasy game where u can control 5 groups of 5 people at a time in battle. while being able to flank and rear strike other units like a strategy game.
Summary: Terrific game, the battles are pretty awesome with so many individuals fighting at once. But do yourself a favor and get it on PC. On Xbox you can only have so many "leaders" in a fight at a time and my xbox had a pretty tough time rendering things. The gameplay is awesome and the story is pretty engaging. But get it for PC.
Summary: Youve already heard that this is an rpg meant for adults, simple, just take your time, make sure you boost your characters stats before venturing futher. All negative reviews aside if you want this game to run smoothly, just download it onto your hard drive wich will eliminate most of the lag and other technical problems that i dont have on this game. The story is really good, the graphics are rich with detail as loong as you play it in high def.
Summary: After watching quite a few (over 30) walkthroughs of the Japanese language PC version on Youtube from EQ2Alyza in order to get comfortable with seeing how the battle system worked, I decided to order this for the Xbox 360 and man am I happy I did! This game is excellent! I received it Saturday (March 12) and only played a few hours, but I have NO complaints about this game so far (and doubt I will have any in the future).
Summary: The game is fun, and well worth the current price. Its long enough, and enjoyable enough for any rpg fan. I would honestly consider it better than Lost Odyssey. Square Enix has yet to dissapoint me.
Summary: I really enjoyed this game. The battle system was fun, and I really liked the characters, especially Emma. I thought some of these characters were unique for the RPG genre, which is far too often repetitive and formulaic. Many of the party members were optional; they engaged me and kept me interested in the game. Adjusting to the battle system was a bit arduous, but once I was comfortable with the system, I liked the battles a lot.
