Hasbro Family Game Night Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: The same intuitiveness that has been cast into HFGN ’s U.I. has made it into each of its add-ons. Even without perusing the “how to play” area, each game can be played with a few taps of the face buttons or a trigger pull here and there. For instance, you highlight a tablet in Scrabble with the left stick, choose it with the A Button, place it on the board with the Left Stick and confirm the move with yet another press of A.

  • Summary: Battleships is the best of the bunch here, with yahtzee coming in last but at 800 points for each title you're only really going to buy the game you want rather than everything on offer. With Boggle, Sorry! and Sorry! Sliders still to come owning a full version of Hasbro Family Game night will set you back close to the cost of a regular full price game.
