Summary: All in all a great game and is an awesome way to relive the glory days of halo.
Pros: This game is a testament to how far we have come in the past 10 years in gaming. Looking back it is hard to believe that Halo CE was once said to have "amazing" graphics. The graphics look amazing and it is even more surprising because you can switch back and forth to see what the graphics looked...
Cons: There are some quirks in the game however, They used the exact same code in this remake and the original game. So that means that your "allies" are still completely useless. I have died way to many times due to friendly fire and grenades that my teammate thew at me.
Summary: This is worth it at $30, had this been a full priced game I'd be singing a different tune. This is worth picking up, checking out the upgrades, and especially seeing the new terminals.
Pros: The graphics are of course improved vastly over the original version. You can easily switch between HD and classic graphics by hitting the back button. The newly added terminals give new back story which is nice. Wouldn't have been worth a full $60 but at $30 it's a great buy.
Cons: While the graphics and terminals are great this is still the same game I beat a decade ago.
Summary: I bought the original halo when it first came out and have played and bought every halo game to date, and I have got rid of them too(ODST,Reach) I loved the first one a lot, but this game is nothing but updated graphics and co play and multiplayer no new weapons or making the game easier for...
Summary: I can understand how this might have seemed like a good idea on paper: Give the original a new coat of paint, spruce things up a bit and throw in a few more features to justify the price point.
Summary: A solid game but also a missed opportunity on almost every front. To call this a remake would be, well, incorrect. This is the exact same Halo we all enjoyed back in the days of the first xbox, just with shiny new graphics.
Summary: Halo on the Xbox deserves every bit of praise that it receives. It was a great game and has actually stood strong through the test of time. You've played this before, so there's no use in reviewing the actual gameplay.
Summary: I played this all the way through on single player and co-op.
Pros: Great graphics. Almost seemed more fun playing this all over again than the original was. 3d looks great! It has a nifty feature to switch back and forth between the old and new graphics. kind of fun to see what it used to look like.
Cons: seems to have bugs in it that I don't remember in the original such as enemies getting stuck in things, or freezing. It doesn't have the original multiplayer, it is Halo reach. No 3d in co-op mode.
Summary: > No problems w/ Newegg, shipping of video games is fine. Thanks Newegg!
Pros: > Old graphics & New graphics at the touch of the 'back' button. > Xbox Live achievements > Multiplayer on Xbox Live > Comes w/ Map Packs for Halo:Reach (although I would have saved $10 by just buying the map packs) > Pre-ordered game for $32.08 w/ NJ Tax!
Cons: > Game gives me migraines as did most of the games from back in the day which is why I stopped playing them in the first place, unfortunately on Xbox 360, I cannot play this game. Halo 3, ODST, & Reach were great, no headaches or migraine induced motion sickness but Halo CE to me, is awful - game...
