Summary: I'm a huge Halo fan, but this game was probably unnecessary. Probably no one will read my review, but whatever. Gameplay levels look amazing, the terminal videos are very enlightening, and the 100,000 Reach cR you get from finding all the terminals is awesome. But the cutscenes are murdered. Keyes and Cortana both looked perfect in Reach. But they look terrible in CEA. Keyes has duck lips, and Cortana is her Halo 3 self slapped on the original animations.
Summary: I thought that this one would be like others Halo game or better but guess not. This game is very cheap made using the same seem over and over. I just don't like to go through the same thing over and over, it gets old after awhile.
Summary: I wouldn't care if the game looked like the original. Every Halo CE fan's dream was to play the MP on XBL. I wonder how long 343 spent on making this? Not long I presume since they reused Reach's MP. I guess I'll settle for Halo CE on the PC ...
Pros: Switching graphics between old and new is gimmicky, but cool. Sound is vastly improved from the original Halo CE.
Cons: Character models seem chunky, not bulky. So it makes Johnson look inadvertedly fat and not muscular. Multiplayer is the biggest disappointment of all as it uses Halo Reach's MP engine. This means the assault rifle has 32 rounds, the beloved overpowered pistol isn't there, etc. Really? I heard that 343 said the MP wouldn't have felt original even if they remade it. They sure did a good job of ruining it. Also the needle explosion is less cool in the remake graphics.
Summary: I love the Halo games. I have played the original Halo on the Xbox and loved it. I replayed it on the Xbox 360 when it came out and played it again on the PC. When I saw this and that the graphics were updated for the 360 I thought that I should get it again. The good news is that it is just like the original. The bad news is that after playing the 360 for so many years the game does feel a bit dated.
It's doesn't include classic Halo multiplayer but includes Reach multiplayer

Summary: When I originally pre-ordered I was under the impression that 343i were going to release the classic multiplayer so give this an average view since it felt like half the product. On a fair note the single player is great but the co-op is buggy and is well known to lag for most people.
Summary: Not the best remake, if I may be honest. The game itself is brilliant, Halo CE still remains one of the best Halo games ever made, after all. But there are a lot of issues with this remake, and as an older fan of Halo I wasn't too impressed with it. First of all, the graphics. I'm just not feeling the new design for everything. Dark and suspense-filled levels like '343 Guilty Spark' have been ruined by their over-the-top colours and lack of darkness/fog.
