Summary: It could be my TV, but honestly, if I change a thing in the game and get better response time, then it is most likely not the TV's fault.
Pros: It's good ol' Halo and the PVP maps from it too
Cons: The campaign. Well, it's the same campaign which is fine, but the overlay causes issues in my opinion. I'll have a full .5 second delay between my moving the joystick and my reticle moving. Gunfire is also delayed. I have less issue when the new graphic mode is turned off, so I would have to place the blame on the game running an overlay on the old graphics.
Shows its excessive vintage despite the thin HD make-over

Summary: I was badly disappointed with this game. I had hoped for a completely re-made "Halo: Combat Evolved" using the full "Reach" gameplay engine and interface. Instead, despite the HD up-scaling and retooling of the art I got a plodding and blocky throwback to 2001. The underlying game shows its age BADLY and the "Reach" engine was squandered to give only features and a HUD that roughly approximate the original.
Summary: i bought this with high expectations.......,what a let down, this game is !! "yawn yawn" totally boring, just one pointless scene after another, i had read reviews from others who said it was the best game ever, you have got to be joking, obviously havnt played games like bioshock, skyrim, tombraider etc etc, even space marines wipes the floor with this game,at least that is great fun, more than can be said for this game, might have been slightly interesting 15 years ago but...
Summary: In another desperate gambit to convince Halo fans that 343 are real halo and
halo 4 will not be an overwrought mistake comes halo Anniversary.
The gist of this is simple. Replace halo with … Halo. What could
go wrong- Well 343 can go wrong, let us begin with them messing with the cut-scenes,
doing silly things like removing commander Keyes' pipe because… Why- and
ending with adding in a number of terminals which give you plot spoilers.
Summary: Good idea to have a great classic remastered with modern graphics, but the
gameplay is too much like Halo: Reach. Pros: Graphics look great Sound is the same with remastered music. Skulls in Halo (1), fun stuff Cons: Auto Aim that wasn't featured in Halo (1). Controls are in presets and none are exactly like the Halo (1)
controls. Aiming sensitivity isn't even. Up/Down is slow while side ways is fast.
Conclusion: I've been a Halo fan for a very very long time (got the original game on day of release and even skipped school for it) but this was a massive disappointment, the graphics are reasonable but far from the recent releases of HD quality, the controls are slow to respond and far from reliable (my example is in crouching, fine when i want to crouch but trying to go into combat where MC decides to crouch of his own accord and throw off my shot is a pain in the A$$).
