Excerpt: The Orange Box is as close to a must buy title as it gets for PS3 owners. It features five incredible games that are worth buying individually; heck, for Team Fortress 2 alone, I'd thrown in my first-born as well.
Pros: Five incredible games in one awesome package. There are dedicated servers for TF2.
Excerpt: Isn’t it a wonderful time to be a first-person shooter fan? With Halo 3, Crysis, and Call of Duty 4 being released in such rapid succession, it’s almost too much. Gamers on a budget will certainly be feeling the pain, but thankfully, The Orange Box is here to make the choice oh-so-easy. For the same price of any one of those games, The Orange Box packs five- yes, five- games onto one disc.
Excerpt: Since its release back in 2004, I have always wanted to play Half-Life 2. Originally on the PC and then ported to Xbox, I never got a chance to play what we could consider the first next-gen game of this generation. Now that I have had a chance to play it, along with the two expansions in The Orange Box, I am glad I waited to play them all together. The ending to the first leaves much to be desired and is woven together nicely in the two expansions that follow.
