    • Fast, frantic gunplay; both characters play very uniquely giving the game a lot of replay; smart enemy A.I.; all of the weapons from previous games return; competitive and fun co-op gameplay.

Guitar Hero Metallica is a game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision Inc. for the Xbox 360 game console. The game puts gamers in a new Guitar Hero experience, only this time featuring Metallica, one of the greatest metal band of all time, and musicians selected by the band, which includes Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters and Queen. The game requires gamers to test their skill with an array of Metallica’s music as they shred guitar, rip on drums and wail to songs that span the band’s illustrious career. Guitar Hero Metallica’s set list is comprised of over 45 metal and rock hits from Metallica and other artists that are performed in venues reminiscent of the band’s epic album covers, themes from their music and real world locales.

Features

Guitar Hero Metallica features over 20 Superstar Guest Acts, with acts chosen by Metallica ranging from Queen, to Alice in Chains, Lynrd Skynrd and the Foo Fighters, jam to a wide variety of high-energy rock for Guitar Hero. It allows to indulge themselves with music of bands Metallica has collaborated with, the music that inspired them, and acts they admired. The game also features authentic Metallica experience through full on Metallica by playing as the band with their motion captured moves and likeness capturing the full presence and intensity of James, Lars, Kirk and Robert. It also takes the users on stage at venues featuring famous Metallica stages and iconic imagery. All tracks and content are “Metallica Approved.” Other features on the game are full Guitar Hero World Tour feature set - all the instruments are back in the next Guitar Hero: rock on guitar, bass, vocals and drums. Up to 4 players can join together and rock locally, or battle other bands online with up to 8 players; “Rock Star Creator” that allows gamers to play with friends online; Music Studio and the user-created music sharing service, GH Tunes and Death Magnetic downloadable content. The game supports two kick pedals in a new “Expert +” mode, letting gamers drum like Lars on two bass drums. It also features videos straight from Metallica concerts and the option to test gamer’s Metallica know-how on any song to beat the game with facts on the band’s history, and how guest acts are tied to Metallica. Metallica has added their own touch from the attacks in Battle Mode to the effects in the Music Studio.
