Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has had incredibly long legs in Japan; many up-and-coming gamers enjoyed it. The sheer amount of depth and entertainment to be had with the game is exceptional, and it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to hear that it is also one of the best titles to grace the PSP. Take our word for it, you will not be disappointed. Read more
The look and feel of GH3 is a mixed bag. The gameplay segments are sharper than ever, with the character models improved, but also doing a better job of looking like they’re involved in the particular song you’re playing (right down to the singer’s lip synching). However, the cutscenes between those segments are made to be more cartoony, with all dialogue replaced by gibberish or something akin to what The Sims speak. Read more
Guitar Hero III played it safe this year, and it doesn’t steer to far away from the original formula, which isn’t a bad thing especially coupled with the best track list the series has seen yet. While a lot of the new improvements there are great and you can feel that they will be expanded on, it still might leave some to be desired by veterans that are looking for more than just more challenge. Guitar Hero itself has been a great success from day one. Recently there was Guitar Hero 2 for the Xbox360 and Guitar Hero Rock the 80’s for the PS2. But even with those titles out, fans of air guitar and long hair were clamoring for more. Read more
The Guitar Hero franchise is barely two years old and it’s already the biggest party game around. Read more
Guitar hero 3 should most definitely be praised - for its almost entirely original recording song list, for its attempts to introduce something new into a near perfect formula. Read more

Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock is the quintessential Guitar Hero game. It has everything the previous games had tweaked to peak performance, but it also carries the visuals of its PS2 brother and has a slightly weaker track list. However, the added battle mode, online play, and serious difficulty setting will do nothing but keep the hardcore fans rockin’ for days to come. Read more

It's a good game, but if you have Guitar Hero I or II, there's really nothing that makes III that much more exciting. I mean, the legends thing is kinda cool. But...wouldn't it be more fun to have a drumset and vocals added to this game? hehe. Read more
Like I said I don't know what all the complaints are about. I have GH I, GH II, GH Encore and GH III as well as Rock Band. This is the best yet, wireless controller included, out of all of them. Read more
This game is available as part of 2 bundles. The disc alone & the disc with a guitar (either wired or wireless). I purchased the disc & guitar version for my Fiancé, Tom, for around £45.00 in a pre-owned condition but by shopping around it's possible to find a new guitar & disc for this price now. The game has many songs on it (which I will list later) and comes with stickers for decorating your guitar or whatever you like. Read more
More of an evolution than a revolution in gameplay but a good choice of tracks and additions such as battle and co op make it worth your dollar. GH2 fans may notice a slight increase in difficulty which is also very welcome. I couldnt imagine playing it without the guitar as rocking around your living room with your controller doesn't quite have the same effect of transporting you into rock-god-fantasy-land so unless you can pinch someone's guitar I would give it a miss. Guitar Hero III is the first of the franchise developed by Neversoft following the Harmonix departure to better, if not yet bigger, things and while they deliver on music a good soundtrack does not a great game make. Overall, the Guitar Hero presentation just looks tired, and while some may argue that the gameplay still holds strong I think the artificially difficult songs stamp the fun right out. Read more
Guitar Hero 3 is a top game! Great gameplay - with a lot of unheard of tracks and a few well known ones, a very good range of tracks spanning the complete 'rock' genre! Tricky at times but with great visuals and style - if you have a Xbox 360 guitar (from Guitar Hero 2), rent this item - it's a cracker - but I'm not sending it back yet! Also, this version benefits from online gaming - compete with outh Guitar Hero players online! Read more
