An honest review from a software developer and paintballer
1 February 2013
Summary: I have been playing D3 paintball since 2006, and have extensive experience with the game of paintball. I also am a software developer and AI specialist as a career. I owned Greg Hastings Paintball Tournament Max'd for PS2 and decided I would purchase this updated Greg Hastings as the graphics were better, the options to customize a character were better, and just overall supposed to be a better game.
Summary: To start off, I LOVED Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball Max'd! So, I didn't hesitate to purchase this game. If you enjoyed this game and don't like my rating, hear me out. Gameplay: Decent gameplay; not much button variation; games happen a little too fast; what happened to the plays? now there's just a few options. Graphics: This is about the only step up from the previous game; looks very nice. Customization: Awkwardly confusing.
Summary: This game is not as good as we all thought it was going to be. The graphics are horrible. There are plenty of good things in this game but the movement of the players is not realistic. The ball movement is good when shooting but everything the player does is stiff. The speedball is not realistic either the players move way to fast up the field and they crawl to get the flag. Game could use a lot work ill sick to NPPL.
