See lessIf you've skipped ahead then you already know that I didn't give GTA IV the 10 that it's gotten elsewhere. It's not that the game isn't stellar, of course - it's probably the most polished open-world title that Rockstar will ever put out - but the game just doesn't really do anything new. In fact, the title actually takes several steps back from previous iterations, though these omissions fall in the realm of 'extras' and not in the primary gameplay. Things like buying... Read more
Last Thursday before I went to work I finished GTA IV's Lost and the Damned DLC achivements and all. It is a pretty good game though it is about a 1/3 of what the original is in storyline length. I would play it again. The only real complaint I had is the ending(no spoilers don't worry)kinda left a bad taste in my mouth with some unresolved issues. With one more DLC episode still to come I hope Rockstar brings the heat a bit harder. Read more

The blockbuster hit of 2008 is Grand Theft Auto 4 - by no surprise. The hype machine has been rolling along for this huge hit since last year. Rockstar has delivered a game which is more of a life simulator than even The Sims can claim to be. There is so much content packed onto your disc that running out of stuff to do just won't happen. Enough with all the praising though, here is my review. Read more
Or: No, Not for the PC, It Just Took Me a Long Time to Review It… It’s the game that Jack Thomson doesn’t want you to play, but for better or worse, it’s here. Everyone was looking forward to GTA IV coming out, and now that it is (and has been for a while), I’m happy to say that it’s a crowning achievement on Rockstar’s list of games. Read more
Fun: Ok let me start off by saying this game was the worst game I've ever played in my life. The only fun thing about this game is the crash graphics. Now I bought the first Saints Row and LOVED it.. i ended up being a Saints Row fan and id like to say SR is 10x better than GTA 4. On GTA 4 they took out planes the only thing is like 2 helicopters. Anyways they took out all planes theres no parachutes the driving controls are crap. If your going 30 MPH and theres a turn... Read more
This game is lousy, it's not fun at all and it lacks something...I just cant think of it?...oh yeah, a good story with a way to keep these similiar missions interesting for the player...anyways that's what I thought of it, and it seems i may be the only one...?!?! Read more
Personally I think this is the best game ever produced for any console. Read more
I have to admit that I bought "Grand Theft Auto IV" for my oldest son who is a nut about the entire series. I, on the other hand, really couldn't care less. Blood and mayhem. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've seen it all before. Frankly it was more fun in "Crazy Taxi" or that first Simpson's game than in the Grand Theft Auto series. And oh my God, the constant thumping of Snoop Dogg made me want to hop in my truck and drive to to Beverly Hills just to slap him. I was never... Read more
Overall it's good, but gets boring and repetitive. I don't think it's really a 10/10 game that all these review sites give it. Story-line is "blah" without really being inspiring or drawing you in to play/finish the game like other RPG's or FPS's. I did play the heck out of the game for a few weeks. Read more
