Summary: I was able to get this game for less than $20. It is a very good game with lots of playing options. The game play is OK; could be better but the back and forth of tennis is hard on programmers. Especially the side to side and sliding on clay etc. Of course it could be better but I am very happy with it. My primary issue is that the list of characters available does not include Andre Agassi. I would have like to see Agassi vs Sampras on this game.
Summary: Even on the hardest level the opponents are too easy. It's cool that each player has signature moves and their own grunt, this beats top spin in that department but the game is too easy to master
Summary: I must say that, although I'm not an avid tennis simulation player, I have been an on-again/off-again fan of the sport since the late 1980's, and I have played many, many tennis games over the years, extending all the way back to "Tennis" for the NES. If I had to sum this game up in one word, it would be FUN! I love the look of the game. If you didnt know any better, you'd think you were watching a real match. It is great. I love the textures and the look of the courts.
Summary: This game has to be one the best EA Sportsgame out to date! With full HD courts, player models that look amazing and the sounds of the game impressive make this game worth while! The game has just 8 current male players and 4 females in the game. It may not go very deep in the tennis roster but for the most part all your favorite superstars are there from Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer to the Williams sisters and some legends as well to along.
Summary: I like the game. I just bought it as a try and was not expecting it a good game but when I played it was fantastic. I do not think why people don't like it... my be they don't like tennis as a game.
Summary: Still searching for a proper tennis simulation. Would say that Grand Slam falls slightly to far into the Arcade area. There are some nice ideas, such as the shot stick using the right analog for doing different types of shots, that work well. However i found far to often the timing to get perfect strokes off. I play tennis and just feel that is a bit simplified.
