I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

Tyler Ulrich, Game Informer
17 January 2011
  • Summary: I'm going to be completely honest, this i one of my favorite games to date.  The gameplay, the graphics and the sensation of busting ghosts with the original cast has just kept me wanting to capture more.  The game acts as the 3rd "movie" of the series and it definitely earned the title.  I enjoyed the entire game and there is not a point where I felt that I could let my guard down.

Who You Gonna Call...Ghostbusters!

Jose, Game Informer
21 May 2010
  • Summary: Overall, Ghosbuster if a fun, decent game. The story was engaging, as was the voice acting. I was great to have the original cast involved in the game. It gave it a better since of authenticity as you hear the familiar voices from the movies. My issue witht he game was the feeling that I was running around reviving my feloow Ghostbusters more than capturing ghosts.

solid game, awesome story

Jason Wojnar, Game Informer
19 February 2010
  • Summary: if your a fan of  the films, then read no further and buy the game. However, if you are not, then you probably have no interest in the game and are most likely not reading this. "Ghostbusters" is a solid game whose script, which is penned by Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd, makes it much better than every other solid game. The concept of Ghostbuster's gameplay is rather original.

Ghostbusters rock but the multiplayer doesnt

CaptainMorgan098, Game Informer
21 January 2010
  • Summary: Ghostbusters is a great game to play if you have ever been a fan of the movie. Your teamates are completely useless on hard difficulty though and the epic boss battle with stay-puffed isn't very epic. the cupid part is a pain in the ass as well but other than that, it is very fun.

He Slimed Me....

Ric White, Game Informer
31 December 2009
  • Summary: Yeah, so it took me this long to finish this game, you got a problem with that? :) I know what you might be thinking.  "Ghostbusters?  Why now?  It's been so long.  I feel like this is one of those remakes of 80's movies like Indiana Jones, Rocky, and Rambo that have been popping up lately.  No thanks!"  To be fair, yes, it's like that.  I'm sick and tired of the trend, too, but the one difference is:  I FREAKIN' LOVE GHOSTBUSTERS!

truly awesome.

Magic Inc., Amazon
3 October 2014
  • Summary: This games was awesome, story was great, game play was good and graphics were great. I only have a few gripes about this game. How the hell did they miss off campaign co-op? It would have be awesome. the multiplayer seemed a bit shoehorned in and not once did you get to drive the Ecto1. Gutted. Other than that well worth the money.

Good but not great

Ocelot, amazon.co.uk
1 July 2013
  • Summary: The game has the same feel as the movies, all the original cast appear and the control system is intuitive. the story mode is a good length. The only thing that this game fails to deliver on is the multiplayer. It is online only, so no split-screen.
