I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts

Tyler Ulrich, Game Informer
17 January 2011
  • Summary: I'm going to be completely honest, this i one of my favorite games to date.  The gameplay, the graphics and the sensation of busting ghosts with the original cast has just kept me wanting to capture more.  The game acts as the 3rd "movie" of the series and it definitely earned the title.  I enjoyed the entire game and there is not a point where I felt that I could let my guard down.

Who You Gonna Call...Ghostbusters!

Jose, Game Informer
21 May 2010
  • Summary: Overall, Ghosbuster if a fun, decent game. The story was engaging, as was the voice acting. I was great to have the original cast involved in the game. It gave it a better since of authenticity as you hear the familiar voices from the movies. My issue witht he game was the feeling that I was running around reviving my feloow Ghostbusters more than capturing ghosts.

solid game, awesome story

Jason Wojnar, Game Informer
19 February 2010
  • Summary: if your a fan of  the films, then read no further and buy the game. However, if you are not, then you probably have no interest in the game and are most likely not reading this. "Ghostbusters" is a solid game whose script, which is penned by Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd, makes it much better than every other solid game. The concept of Ghostbuster's gameplay is rather original.

Ghostbusters rock but the multiplayer doesnt

CaptainMorgan098, Game Informer
21 January 2010
  • Summary: Ghostbusters is a great game to play if you have ever been a fan of the movie. Your teamates are completely useless on hard difficulty though and the epic boss battle with stay-puffed isn't very epic. the cupid part is a pain in the ass as well but other than that, it is very fun.

He Slimed Me....

Ric White, Game Informer
31 December 2009
  • Summary: Yeah, so it took me this long to finish this game, you got a problem with that? :) I know what you might be thinking.  "Ghostbusters?  Why now?  It's been so long.  I feel like this is one of those remakes of 80's movies like Indiana Jones, Rocky, and Rambo that have been popping up lately.  No thanks!"  To be fair, yes, it's like that.  I'm sick and tired of the trend, too, but the one difference is:  I FREAKIN' LOVE GHOSTBUSTERS!

Ghostbusters Xbox 360 - Bustin Makes Me Feel Good!

stevek181, Ciao
20 November 2010
  • Excerpt: Since the 1984 Ghostbusters game by Activision, there have been several attempts to cash in on the hugely successful Ghostbusters franchise with a video game but, like so many games based on films, these have left a lot to be desired. None have managed to replicate the look, feel, style and inherent character which made the films such huge hits. In fact, most have strayed so far from the original source material that very little resemblance can be seen.
  • Pros: Authentic, witty and fun
  • Cons: Too short, slightly repetitive

Overall, a nice converted game from a movie

Dangey2009, Dooyoo
2 May 2010
  • Excerpt: I loved Ghostbusters when I was younger and it's extremely popular. I've played various Ghostbusters games on different consoles but this version on the XBox 360 for me is one of the best I've played. This is somewhat unusual as there are quite alot of times when video games don't live up to the movie itself. To be honest with you if you love this movie then you will love this game.

Bustin' Makes Me Feel Good!

MonsoonBa..., Ciao
10 February 2010
  • Excerpt: PLEASE NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS ALSO FEATURED ON DOOYOO, UNDER MY USERNAME "MONSOONBABY." It is customary nowadays for most films to get accompanied by a game adaptation. Sadly, game adaptations of films rarely live up to the expectations the film had set. However, Ghostbusters changes this. Over twenty five years later, the popular Ghosbusters series finally earns themselves a decent game tie-in, in the form of a third-person shooter/platforming game.
  • Pros: A faithful tie - in to the films, Original cast back, Original ghosts return, great gameplay !
  • Cons: Internet required to get all the achievements, Not many people tend to play it online .

The ghosts don't stand a chance

tangoman1..., Ciao
11 January 2010
  • Excerpt: Having always been a fan of the hugely successful Ghostbusters franchise in all of its forms including the movies, cartoons, toys and of course the theme tune I was absolutely delighted when I heard that they were going to be releasing an all new game on the consoles that would bring together a new story and adventure whilst also staying true to the original films but was it really all just too good to be true?
  • Pros: Stunning game, amazing depth, great control system, stays true to the films
  • Cons: Sometimes feels too far fetched

An excellent accompaniment to the Ghostbusters films. Gameplay is enjoyable, and fans will love it!
