Summary: Wow...let's begin with the gameplay. It is definitely a great experience, although the controls could be a little smoother. The campaign is pretty good, my only issues being far too many cutscenes, and the co-op gameplay can get a bit cramped.
Summary: This game is so much better than the original in pretty much every way. I was actually surprised at how much I didn't care for the original and I was kind of worried that this game would be the same. Thankfully, that's not the case. The controls and overall fluidity of the game surpass the original by leaps and bounds. I was constantly annoyed by how easy it was to die for almost no reason in the original and I felt like you moved around like a tanker truck.
Summary: Great game, must play if you are a fan of the series. Introduces some interesting game play concepts not seen in the first game in the series. Highly recommend you buy the first three games in the series and play them in sequence. They are all fairly short experiences ~10 hours each depending on how thorough you want to be.

Summary: Bigger, Better, Badder and more boring (somehow). Everything you could hope for in Gears since the amazing ride that was part 1 is all up in this game, including but not limited to your old squad mates from part 1 and new characters made to die in this one. Oh yeah .. I guess I should have lead in that last part with SPOILER ALERT. But shockingly that isn't what held up the game.
Summary: This 2nd installment of the Gears of War series is very good with much superior graphics than the 1st video game. I recommend this game as a keeper for anyone interested in single or coop play. My wife and I played this game for hours each day and we loved the coop play.
