Frontlines: Fuel of War is a game that visualizes a certain situation/problem in the near future. That situation is that in the year 2024, the global natural resources are on the brink of depletion. Everything goes down in the system including the economy and the way of living life. The Western Coalition (US/EU) and the Red Star Alliance (Russia/China), two big superpowers fight to gain control. The background of the game is set on a fictional future that is based upon the headlines of today. A certain reviewer quoted that this game brings players into the world’s next great war. The game Fuel of War is an open world, infantry and vehicle-based FPS. It features advanced next-gen weaponry to control the planet’s depleting fossil resources determine the ultimate fate of civilization in a near future setting. The game’s plot is that a global war for oil is being waged between two superpowers, the Western Coalition (US/EU) and the Red Star Alliance (Russia/China). The players’ job is to determine how the war is waged and won. The single player mode focuses on this powerful mission as players’ fight for the best that is basically focused on a non-linear gameplay. Players who have always imagined themselves going to war and fighting for their country will love this game.

If you are looking for a good online first person shooter for your 360 Frontlines won’t disappoint you. But if you are looking for the next Call of Duty or Halo then take a pass on Frontlines. Even with all its problems, Frontlines is a game that can be still be fun to play if you give it a bit of time. Read more

There are few complaints to be had with Frontlines overall (the vehicles can be a bitch to get a hang of), but the setting really keeps it from achieving true notoriety. If you can look past the initial feelings of "been there done that," you’ll find an engaging campaign with a particularly roomy multiplayer mode. Read more

The first thing you’ll notice about Frontlines: Fuel of War is the single player seems to have an original and intriguing premise. The opening scenes almost grab you and pull you in like a real war movie. Everything from the rock music, the pep talk, the narrator, the characters, etc., it’s intense! Frontlines: Fuel of War just goes to show that you can teach an old dog new tricks, but it's still an old dog, and tricks, new or old, knick knack or paddywhack, are just a reason to give the dog a bone. Read more
