Forza Motorsport 3 is a great way to get into the racing genre, it offers something for the beginner up to the hardcore racer. It offers racers a chance to jump right in and race or go full blown and invest a lot of time in career mode. It’s a game that even the casual racing fan will like, it’s got something for everyone really. Read more

"Forza Motorsport 3" is pretty much the complete package in terms of content. Anyone from a complete novice to an absolute pro will be able to pick up and play the game with ease, and then you can fiddle with the options to find the perfect difficulty, with no penalty for doing so. There’s also an awful lot of cars and tracks, and most of these can be further customised. It all looks and sound great as well, although in a more sterile way than some other recent racers. • Huge amount to see and do, Huge array of options, Online aspects
    • 100+ tracks is a lie, Lots of recycled content, Speed penalties

If you're asking this gamer for advice - DiRT 2 is a bit aggressive and in-your-face , NFS: Shift is basically a letdown , but Forza Motorsport 3 is the racer to own in 2009. Read more

    • A well-designed racing game, suited for all players and crammed with more than enough content, technically sound, visually pleasing, detailed customization for vehicle...
    • AI acts too calmly sometimes, might still be a bit easy for gamers who had more experience with racing titles.

Forza Motorsport 3 is the best racing sim ever released. The gameplay is solid and the graphics are amazing. There is enough to keep the player busy for months. The online community, like in past Forza games, is always active and there will always be someone to race online with. The Season Play mode, although quite boring, will keep the player busy for a very long time, and after the first six seasons, it is possible to keep racing through new seasons. Read more

    • Beautiful car models and environmental graphics and an excellent career mode.
    • The Online Multiplayer – seriously; this is a BIG disappointment.

Replaying Forza Motorsport 3 is quite easy. I haven't played a great racing game like this in a long time and am thoroughly enjoying the moments I get to spend with it. Some of the current multiplayer issues will surely be patched soon enough. Turn 10 is normally fairly good at keeping their games up to date, provided the fan base is there – which it clearly is with Forza. Put quite simply; do not let any of the current controller issues turn you completely off. Read more

Racing sims are the video game industry equivalent of Christian Rock music: They have a built in audience that likes to spend money; as a producer, you know what your audience expects; they have a broad enough appeal to bring in the casual consumers. That being said, the thing that bothers me most about these games is the lack of off track innovation. Read more

Forza 3 is an excellent game. Very easy to get wrapped up into, with attention to detail. The gameplay feels smooth, not too technical that it has a steep learning curve, but not too arcade/gamey. An excellent game for newcomers to the racing genre who are looking for a quality sim without all the technical hangups, yet they are there for when the player becomes more experienced. The Ultimate Edition is the best for your buck as it comes with 500+ more cars.
