  • Excerpt: This is yet another game i bouth as soon as it come out as i have played all Football Simulation Games on the PC, Unfortunetly this one has to be one of the worst i have ever played on. The most annoying part of the game is that you can only run one country at any one time, If you are like me i like to run the bigger countrys at all time so you can keep upto date as to how other teams and players are performing over the world, And maybe if you were to start at a smaller...

Its for those without PC's, if you do own the original version, dont try this one.

  • Excerpt: Its a letdown, well if you have experienced FM on the PC then do not go near this version of the game. It is very primitive so to speak in comparison with its big PC brother. The detail, database, speed and ease of access on the game screen are all a letdown. I'm a great FM lover and if you have both an X box 360 and PC/Laptop I would urge you to go for the latter version as it is much more detailed, regular updates are easily accessible on-line.

Back of the net!

  • Excerpt: Goaall. FM 08 hits the back of the net! This game has a huge database of players meaning I can sign good ol' Havant and Waterloovile players for my Arsenal team! The 2D match simulator has been improved and now appears much smoother and altogether more entertaining! The introduction of feeder clubs and parent clubs is brilliant. I finally had a place to test drive my youth team... thanks west ham! The transfer market is now much more realistic...
  • Pros: Long lasting
  • Cons: Same old same old

  • Excerpt: 10 minutes left. Time is rapidly ticking down, only moments' remaining until your dream of lifting the coveted trophy is dismissed for another year. In a last ditch attempt to snatch the vital goal that would bring glory to the club and send thousands of fans into an uncontrollable nature, the manager decides to substitute the team's leading goal scorer for a player with only 5 goals to his name all season.
  • Pros: Extremely addictive, fresh looking with a brilliant achievement list
  • Cons: Lack of audio which might make the game tedious for some

  • Excerpt: I picked this game up for rental, unsure of how good the game was but, after a week of playing, I was hooked, the game is fantastic with some fun and exciting gameplay. The game is very fun and will keep you playing for a very long time. The graphics are very good but not some great action to test them out on. The game has some slowdown and will freeze at some times during the game. The controls ar very easy to learn, so anyone can play. The game is very indepth and fun.

Shunto, Play.com
31 October 2008
  • Conclusion: Firstly craigyboy301 you can play upto 3 leagues at one time so thats not a problem. This game is excellent, im a Arsenal fan and all the players where there I know from the reserves to the Youth, players like Jack Wilshire and Rui Fonte also Carol Vela on there is brilliant as you cannot recall him as he doesnt have a work permit but you can still have him in your squad same with American Jozy Altidore, I signed him for £400k and loaned him out to Salamanca for 2 years...
