Excerpt: "...let alone since 2006. In this football strategy game you are the man in charge, whether you choose a sheepskin coat or the unshaven look, neither is an option for me, then you get to control and lead your team through a league season. This game is very addictive and time consuming as not only will you get involved in picking the team and deciding tactics but you also have to deal with contract negotiations, the press, financial issues and transfers ...
Summary: Released in April 2006 this was a much anticipated game for me. I'm a big fan of the management simulation games and this has to be one of the best ive played by far. It's pretty much exactly the same as all football management games except for the intense detail which the game goes into about statistics of players etc. I found that it was a much more entertaining game because of this and gets better as you play it.
Summary: If you would rather be Jose than Beckham or Sir Alex rather than Rooney then Foor=tball Manager 2006 is the game for you. In this football strategy game you are the man in charge, whether you choose a sheepskin coat or the unshaven look, neither is an option for me, then you get to control and lead your team through a league season.

Summary: This is the first football management on the XBOX 360 and takes the successful Football Manager franchise off the PC straight onto your XBOX 360 console. It takes a while getting used to the controls on this game with all the buttons having a function. This is unlike the PC version where the controls are easy to use. Apart from that you have all the leagues in here [...] and you can choose who to manage to success.

Summary: The 'Football Manager' series was born out of the old 'Championship Manager' series from before Eidos took it over. These were widely regarded as the most realistic football management simulators on the market. I bought the 2005 version for the PC and played it for almost a year before getting a little tired of it. During that time I didn't play any other games because I was so hooked by it.
