Football Manager 2006

True achievements
2 April 2007
  • Conclusion: I would have liked to have heard a soundtrack for the game, I also would have preferred to have seen some improvements to the speed the game moves at, and also I would have liked to have seen an end to the game. I mean, not that anyone would do it, maybe someone can to prove me wrong. I am sure you can just start unemployed, go on holiday, and come back days later, still be on holiday unemployed and have aged to the ripe old age of 200 and not be dead...

Football Manager 2006

Thunderbolt Games
14 November 2005
  • Excerpt: As you’ve probably guessed, be it from past reviews or just general rambling, that we love our Football Manager games. The brilliance in the way you can lay siege to the opponents goal, outplay Man Utd, man mark Thierry Henry out of the game and stuff Chelsea 3-0 has literally thousands of fans jumping in the air in front of their PC’s, wearing away the carpet as they trudge up and down during the course of 90 minutes and sinking down in floods of tears as that bloody...

  • Summary: Now I hope you are ready for some tennis nostalgia as we set off in our little gaming time machine back to the good old SEGA Dreamcast, where the delights of two players, one net, two rackets and a few simple lines to create the outline of a court can inspire even the most bewildered sport fanatic.
  • Pros: Perfect arcade styling, A great blast from the past, Superb online offerings
  • Cons: Timing shots can be frustrating, Music is repetitive, Lob difficult to pull off

Football Manager 2006 360

Blokes Only
6 January 2007
  • Summary: Released on the Xbox before but we never had the privilege of playing it so we were quite desperate to get our hands on the 360 version. The first management sim to come out on the 360 so it had high standards to set but we don’t expect anything less from Football Manager!
