It could've been a good game but the time limit just ruins it

Summary: It could've been a good game but the time limit just ruins it. I stress about the stupid time limit and can't relax and enjoy the game. It makes it work, not fun. The first XIII might be my favorite game ever. I even loved the 2nd one, as annoying as the story was. And I would've loved this one if there was a way to turn the darn time limit off.
Over all a good game I'm too short of attention span to finish.

Summary: This is a good ole FF game. Has an odd flow though. The first 20 hours are very driven, absolutely on rails. There are as many cut scenes as there is game play. Basically the first 20 hours is a playable movie/tutorial. Then you reach a point that is more open world and VERY difficult. Unfortunately it's so difficult I lost interest a bit. Hoping I get back to this soon. I really want to after investing so much time.
The last installment of FFXIII was great on the gameplay generally

Summary: The last installment of FFXIII was great on the gameplay generally, but plot felt very rushed and graphics feel outdated for 2013/14. A large no. of customization options are available like always. On the whole, side quests felt boring and lackluster at times but a solid game nonetheless for ff fans.
Summary: After playing this game a few times, I've decided that I'm middle of the road on it. There are too many fetch quest which dull down the game and make it border on monotonous. The battle system: Garbs... While this at its core is a good idea, their execution of it is awful. Some are just hideous looking - actually many are but I can get past that and just not use them though a few of them are needed for key battles.
Summary: im a huge FF fan but the whole XIII series was not the best effort. Storyline is mediocre at best, controls are unlike the previous two versions as are the special powers...which doesnt make a lot of sense when your supposedly continuing the story line. Not a lot of interaction with other characters other than some stock conversations. The whole thing is on a timer so you are limited on getting things accomplished or you will run out of time and the world dies.
Summary: I like the new combat system I feel it needed to be able to have more customs three did not feel like a enough sometimes and the game looks great in preordered cutscenes like always and I like that side quest are more important to do some sides are pretty cool but some side ques ts are kinda of a pain to do because you have to do it at a certain time and with having 13 days to do most of the stuff trying to do them really make you go through your days and not be able to...
Summary: Pros: Fun battle system and Flashy battle animations and effects. New Game + Cons: Convoluted and dumb story. Infinite side quests felt seriously lacking. Short length to complete. Constantly feeling rushed by time limit and can't explore thoroughly. At most, a guaranteed rental if you got a few hours to spare. Save money and use it on Dark Souls 2 if you have money to spend. That's a better value for your money. This might be worth 20 bucks or less when price drops.
