Summary: I greatly enjoyed this game. I fully agree that it wasn't the best in the series but that doesn't mean it is a bad game by any means. The Ff 13's are different from the rest of the FF's but people have been forgetting that different doesn't mean bad. Lightning Returns goes even further than 13 and 13-2. I actually applaud them for testing the waters. I love this game.
The last installment of FFXIII was great on the gameplay generally

Summary: The last installment of FFXIII was great on the gameplay generally, but plot felt very rushed and graphics feel outdated for 2013/14. A large no. of customization options are available like always. On the whole, side quests felt boring and lackluster at times but a solid game nonetheless for ff fans.
Summary: First the good parts: the graphics in game and cut scene are fantastic. The transition between the two is seamless. The characters, enemies, and environments are well animated. When you put all this together it's almost shiny and impressive enough to make you ignore all the issues. First off, as many have said the game is not open world. You are stuck on a track and the limit of exploration is walking down a side hallway to open a treasure chest.
Summary: Most people have hated the FF13 trilogy, but I have absolutely loved it, especially the musical scores. LR is a big change from the previous installments, and yes, the quests are somewhat tedious. But, they didn't bother me that much. The story was a bit eh at points, but thankfully it still help my attention. The garb and weapon customization was highly needed. I couldn't stand seeing the mains in FF13 and FF13- 2 wearing the same outfit the entire time.
