Summary: I would give it 5 stars, however being not the full expansion it is still a tad over priced not by much, but a little bit. Other than that everything shipped fine, I got this earlier than expected.
I have played a lot of FFXI over the last 10 years and this is a good expansion.

Summary: The expansion itself is good. The perfectionist elitist attitude it has brought out from other people regarding the new content such as Skirmish and Delve on the other hand is a very hefty cause for my current disinterest in this game. This game really needs to go free to play with a cash shop and keep up with the times. The end game grindfest is about as bad as any other MMO out there. The job selection is nice. The graphics on the new areas is average.
Just bought this to reload it after replacing my 360.

Summary: I love the game. It's in it's twilight years and I've rage quit more times than I like to admit, but if you like MMO's this was the standard. Complex, party oriented play style. A rich history and backstory. I have been playing for years!
Summary: I had been playing this game for almost 10 years now and still enjoy it. The positives is being able to change jobs and develop different skills (i.e. wood working, cloth craft, mining etc) The other thing Ive enjoyed is support for a game pad like the Logitech game pad for PC and the X-box game pad for basic functions such as movement and attacking and spells or and communication.
Summary: I played this game for 8 years. I also read the message boards for the game FF XI. The only thing that I did not like too well, is when FF XI, made it, so one needs a secure CC, some people complained their CC would no longer work with the game. I was lucky my debit cards worked, but let's just say you have go to a web site to varafiy your credit card. I agree when I first started playing I had no idea it would take so long to download.
Summary: Final Fantasy XI is Square Enix's first major foray into the MMORPG market. And, just as you would expect with most Final Fantasy games, its pretty fun and pretty challenging. The gameplay is addictive, and being able to work with other players, friend or foe, just makes the experience better. As well, the Xbox 360 version does not require a Gold membership, but even if you do, you still must pay SE $12.99 (I think) a month.
Summary: I bought two copies for two of my sons. They love the game, but had issues with disc read problems. This game has its own log in and log out screen. If you just log out using the microsoft screen it can create corrupted files. The next time you try to sign in, you get a message that the program cannot read the disc or that there are corrupted files. The solution that worked for us is to reformat the hard drive and install the game to the hard drive.
Summary: Overall, it's a great game, but it something to get used to at first. Setup is is easy as long as you read and go by the directions. But if I was you, don't stop the loading till it finishes, or else it won't let you play the game or download it. That would definitely be a waste. Otherwise, Read the instructions and you should be okay with it.
Summary: If anyone is looking for a great game to play, something that goes beyond a linear storyline, then THIS is the game for you. The game is fantastic. The world is beautifully created. Sitting on a hill in the Batilla Downs region watching the sun come up, and it is different everyday, maintains a certain amount of beauty. I joined a wonderful Linkshell (guild) on my 4th day in game. The people are friendly and helpful. and I cannot imagine have joined anyone else.
