M. Baker, Amazon
31 August 2013
  • Summary: It's FFXI with all current expansions and add ons, If your considering picking this up you might want to take a few things into consideration before you buy. First thing is are you willing to pay the monthly fee to play this game? (take note that you do not have to have XBL Gold to play this game online).

Big fan of the series

Animus-Art "PC", Amazon
15 July 2013
  • Summary: I been a fan of Final Fantasy Series for as long I can remember, first one I played was Mystic Quest on the SNES, anyways, its a good expansion, been playing final fantasy xi for 11 years now, and well the game isn't what it used to be anymore, it sucks the life out of you, people in the game are not what they used to be anymore, so let me warn you, if you getting into this game for the first time, it will suck/drain your social life, and if you don't want that, its...

  • Summary: The only problem I had with this, was for an expansion disc that is no new is still over priced! The prices could drop on this. This expansion is old. Everything else was fine.

This is not a friendly MMORPG

R. Evans, Amazon
5 July 2011
  • Summary: For me I didn't enjoy this game. In fact, I loathe these kinds of games. Mainly, because they want you to brute force your way through the game and spends dozens of hours figuring out the BASICS. What makes the experience worst is the map system isn't helpful and the quest description are of no help as to what you actually need to do. Overall, If you like the idea of an advanced MMORPG with NO assistance from the game itself then buy it.

2 December 2009
  • Summary: this game has its ups and downs. if you don't know anybody playing it you won't have any fun on it. plus the very very very slow pace of the game drags it down. if you played other ff and was thinking this might be a fix till spring. i would'nt waste my time.

LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG

B. Deans "Shadow", Amazon
28 October 2009
  • Summary: Well this game is not what i would call exactly an easy game. It is chalked full of missions quests enemies to kill and general wonders. The game is beautifully detailed and some of the hard to reach area's are a visual wonder. As an mmorpg ffxi gives you basically a open world to explore with probably over 100 maps that are richly detailed and time consuming to explore. This game can easily take away countless hours of your time without you knowing the time past.

The "setup game" game...

Q, Amazon
23 July 2009
  • Summary: I've played this game before, and have enjoyed - the price being much lower these days has brought back my interest. My biggest complaint is the 3 hour long setup process. If you don't have a USB keyboard to plug into your XBox 360, steer clear! You will have to enter your address twice, through their horribly developed proprietary "PlayOnline" interface. This process is not for the faint of heart, or the easily agitated (I am the later of the two).
