Final Fantasy XI The makers of Final Fantasy has come up with another version, the Final Fantasy XI using the Xbox 360 game format, which is about a special world of Final Fantasy, inhabited by numerous races.

It is about the Elves at war with the Dark Elves, led by Astos. Mermaids live on the top floor of the submerged Sea Shrine. There was a prophecy that four Light Warriors will come to save the world in a time of darkness. Here, the game begins with the appearance of the four youthful Light Warriors, the heroes of the story, who each carry one of the darkened Orbs (Crystals). They travel to the ruined Temple of Fiends in the northwest corner of Coneria, defeat Garland, and return Princess Sara home. At Pravoka, the Light Warriors liberate the town from Bikke and his band of pirates. Along with the story, the Warriors venture and win all battles. They have changed the future, to one in which their heroic deeds from their own time remain unknown outside of legend.

Review Summary

The Final Fantasy XI is the updated version from the world famous series. Final Fantasy XI allows players of sharing on the internet with other players. This game does just that by taking the familiar solo feel from its version and then proceeds to let players out there (on the internet) with a whole lot of other players form around the world to play this game together. There are lots of continents waiting to be discovered by players but that won’t happen until the players spend some time in getting all the weapons and armor that they need in order to survive. A certain reviewer quoted that World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XI (FFXI) have a lot in common, but there are also a lot of significant differences. Both games take a long time to install or to setup. The long process might tick off a few players but if one is an ardent fan of Final Fantasy then they are willing to wait no matter for how long to play this game. This game apparently lacks the feel of the ‘next-gen’ graphically and also in the gameplay. A certain reviewer that the audience of gamers won’t gel with this game specially those who think games should be play and not work. This game has been reviewed as being huge and it would last the player a lifetime to play this game, once he loves it.
