Summary: I had a hard time getting into it at first, but the champion mode is much better than the story in my opinion. The online community is dead, so not much to do there. The feature that allows you to put in your picture during character creation is difficult to use.
Summary: A fun game, but loads very slowly, especially when trying to connect to Xbox Live. Once you finish the story mode there isn't much else to do, and the game could be a little more realistic. I would only recommend this game to serious face-to-face combat lovers.
Summary: The story mode was great. (: It's so much fun, I wish it would've been longer though, and theres no Floyd Mayweather in the gameplay.. But, overall fun game to play by yourself and with challenging friends.
Summary: I thought people were being overly critical of this game. I mean I loved FNR3 and thought FNR4 wasn't as fun but still passable so this new one should have corrected the mistakes of FNR4, and have improved graphics and mechanics to boot. Boy, I was wrong. I'll admit that I didn't finish the game, but that's because the game is punishingly difficult at certain fights.
Summary: I'm a huge fan of the Fight Night Franchise (well, the 1st one, the 2nd one and somewhat this one). (I thought Round 3 sucked). The good: The graphics in this game are great. The actual boxing matches are pretty good. The bad: The training games in Legacy mode suck. They are boring and time consuming and make the game less enjoyable. Worse still, you have to do them to get points to make your boxer competitive.
Summary: I had such high hoped for this game. I have been a follower of the series for a long time, but this switch to an arcade approach is destroying the series. The hit detection is terrible, and the speed of the game is way too fast. I am very disappointed.
Summary: I will say this upfront,I am giving this game a 3 out of 5 for one reason ONE PUNCH KNOCKOUTS! Pros: Amazing looking game Control scheme is differant but it works (Great for old pros and newbies alike) Champion Mode was great! Legacy Mode may be the most we seen from the Franchise yet Cons: One Punch Knockout!! (Really?.....Really?
Summary: The story is great, has some re-play value. The new fight mechanics are nice, nothing earth shattering. But for what I bought the game for, legacy mode, it is almost entirely recycled from years past, and not much fun at all. More tedious than fun, and not much depth at all. Welcome to sports gaming from EA...
