FIFA Street 3 Xbox 360 Review

Console Obsession
2 June 2010
  • Excerpt: Not everyone wants a simulation in the same vein as FIFA 08, some prefer a more casual virtual kick around similarly to a street game where dodging cars is as important as dodging opponents and window smashes aren‘t uncommon. Whilst there’s no dodging moving vehicles or putting balls straight through your next door neighbours window, FIFA Street has always strived to be that casual kick around.

FIFA Street 3 Review

VideoGamer.com
17 September 2008
  • Excerpt: FIFA Street 3 makes an excellent first impression. After spending a few minutes with the game and admiring the flashy moves and caricature representations of some of the best footballers in the world, it's easy to believe that EA has created the first great FIFA Street title. But while first impressions count for a lot, it's how you feel after a few hours and days that really counts.

  • Conclusion: But you can't create teams and players. --------------------------------- MULTIPLAYER ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5/10 ---------------------------------------- Multiplayer on Xbox Live is bad and boringggggggggg. But multiplayer on the same Xbox 360 is cool.

FIFA Street 3 (Xbox 360) Review

411mania.com
26 May 2008
  • Excerpt: Do you remember playing a game of Basketball or Football with your friends in the frontyard? Around the world, the sport played everywhere is football of a different kind, but the place that the game is played the most, is in the street. EA’s FIFA Street 2 was a vast improvement over its first iteration, so there are many big expectations for this edition of the franchise, being that is also the first on the next-gen consoles.

  • Excerpt: Game – FIFA Street 3 Genre – Sports – Soccer Platforms – PS3, Xbox 360, DS (Reviewed on Xbox 360) By the time a franchise reaches its third iteration, you expect that the developers have learned from the first two.  Figuring out what has and hasn’t worked in the series is  key to creating a quality sequel.

  • Excerpt: FIFA Street is a football game where the pitch is a stretch of concrete overlooking a Tokyo skyline, where players use rabonas, rainbow kicks, lollipops and any other flick or trick you can think of that hasn’t had a name made up for it. A football game in which even the heftiest of players can backflip off a wall to avoid a defender’s tackle that closely resembles a roundhouse karate sweep.

  • Excerpt: Football sells. The clubs know it, the shirt manufacturers know it – and EA certainly knows it. The football video game market is a goldmine for developers ready to exploit eager armchair fans ready to splash out to play as their favourite team from the comfort of their home – so it’s no surprise we’re inundated with games that are football related.

  • Excerpt: If you look at professional athletes today, the most famous of them stick out because of their ability to do things that the rest of us would find impossible. The ability to jump high, run fast, and have tremendous strength usually sets these superstar athletes apart. EA Sports Big has, once again, attempted to put that power into the hands of the “rest of us” in their latest edition of FIFA Street 3.

Expert Review

Game Over Online
13 March 2008
  • Excerpt: Right from the whistle FIFA Street 3 is an unexpected letdown. As the start up menu appears on the screen, your eyes look right for a “Career” or “Franchise” mode. However you are left a little bit confused because there is none. The only thing that comes close is the “FIFA Street Challenge.” In this mode you are given challenges in nine different tournaments. Tourneys have their own rules and challenges that make each one different yet not very exciting.
