Summary: Game was shipped quickly product was as described. Not a big soccer fan didn't like the game even another game but not a soccer fan didn't like the game either. Can't just pick out up and play with friends. Have to know controls to play and lots of controls to learn.
Summary: Fifa 08 is not the best soccer game on the market. The controls are a bit out of the ordinary and the play choices are a little sub par. Their is no regular franchise, but only a single season or manager mode. Personally, I like to just play a franchise and not worry about salary cap, drafting and all that jazz. Overall though, it is a pretty fun game and can be found pretty cheap. So if you are cheap like me, this will more then fill your need for a soccer game.
Summary: Game is OK well its really hard to control it at first and its kinda hard as far as the difuculty level even on its lowest? Plus the line ups are OLD? for my 5 year old? I don't want then surfing the net for the latest line ups?
Summary: I've had this game a couple months now, and overall it's probably the best soccer/football game for XBox360. With that being said, there are some definite things I don't like about it, and things I wish were carried over from previous FIFA games. The good: An amazing selection of teams and players, great graphics. It's hard to imagine having more choices for teams. Even the Irish league is on here, a first for EA.
Summary: Not everyone with a penchant for videogames has a connection to the Internet, and in the past this has never prevented one from playing the various games in the FIFA series. This year, however, an Internet connection has been made mandatory. If you install the game without one, it simply will not play. This fact is announced on the EA Sports website, but it's not mentioned anywhere in Amazon's discussion of FIFA 08. Be warned.
Summary: I spend most of my time playing on manager made, so i will talk about this, Fifa had a problem two years ago, in that all you had to do was send a half decent scout out to the likes of Africa and Europe and he would come back with a young player with attributes in the high 70's or low 80's, and yes this problem is back.
Excerpt: In a normal match, with the camera in its default position, the game looks stunning, and would fool non-gamers into thinking they are actually watching a real-life football match. The game is perhaps the closest the industry has ever got to achieving a photo realistic virtual game of football. You'll be amazed at how life-like the players move about the pitch.
