Not for all sportfans

Andreas Schneider, Amazon
17 September 2010
  • Summary: If you like to play serious soccer video games, this may be for you, but if you just dont have the time to learn all the details of this game you might as well just leave it on the shelf. The graphics are good and the options are great, but the game is a major disapointment for casual gamers.

What a Waste!!!

Omo Egbo, Amazon
12 January 2008
  • Summary: I really long for the days when games played like games. The days when one had a few options and at least some of the options were good. With the growth of the few titans of the industry, we are subjected to various versions of repackaged garbage year after year. Fifa 07 was a mess plain and simple.

Robert S. Bergkamp, Amazon
17 November 2007
  • Summary: You might already be confused by the rating I gave to this game but let me explain. FIFA 08 is a great game, with the best gameplay ever in the FIFA series. The soundtrack can easily satisfy most listeners, the graphics are imperessive as always, the commentary although repetitive still good and at...

J. Clarke "Alright Sally", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: The amount of chances EA has had to make fifa a good decent, realistic game is insane, because they have failed at every attempt. No, I'm not a pro evo fanboy, i've never even played one.. I'm starting to wish i had. So whats wrong with it?

Too slow too serious

TomS08, Play.com
21 February 2008
  • Conclusion: Where are the real heads. Too slow gameplay, Pro Evo 2008 was bad but still better than this. Too easy to get bored with, FIFA 07 was better, however it appears to be back on form with the new 09 version which is very good judging by the demo. And finally, well yeah, it sucks!!

Andrew Thomas, amazon.co.uk
7 December 2007
  • Summary: Where to begin? Well it firstly it was a major surprise when I first started the Xbox 360 version of Fifa 08 up for the first time. Having played the Pc version I was pretty thrown by how different the "New Generation" version was!

Same as most EA releases, pretty poor

M. Lowe, amazon.co.uk
31 October 2007
  • Summary: EA do the same with every game, promise so much and deliver so little. As with games like battlefield and the need for speed series, fifa looks really good but it's a pretty basic game with poor rules.

DEMO REVIEW

D. Peters, amazon.co.uk
27 September 2007
  • Summary: Once again FIFA have brought out a new game with one new thing in it so they can call it 'new'. This year you have the ability to be able to pull of skill moves, which frankly, arent as amazing as they sound. But nevertheless, its a good new feature.
