Summary: Fallout 3 was good but Fallout New Vegas simply outdid 3 on many levels. I'm incredibly impressed at the number of story changing decisions available in the open world game. The five DLC packs included are also worth it for the few extra bucks, even though I disliked the Dead Money missions.
Summary: One of the best role-playing games out there. It's a shame the game has as many glitches as it has, but the fun questing, flexible character development, music, and branching story make for an experience that is both worth it and filled with replay ability.
Was going to give 4 because I like FO3 more, but who am I kidding, they're both 5 stars.

Summary: I will admit, I am a relative newcomer to the Fallout series. Fallout 3 was my first and emerging from Vault 101 and exploring the Capital Wasteland was an amazing experience. FONV definitely has a different flavor to it and has its own unique gameplay aspects, some of which I love, and others....not so much. Loves: - Two companions at a time? and they have their own storyilines and quests and are upgradable? Awesome!!
Summary: Game is amazing, I love how they added the survival aspect (hardcore mode). Definitely have to approach things more differently than normal mode. Fallout 3 was amazing this is just as good, Fallout NV Ultimate Edition comes with addons. So def worth the money. To bad or didn't come out sooner. I already had the addons. But I still got it. Definitely recommend for FPS RPG players or for more of a challenge you could do Third person mode.
Summary: Definitely an improvement over Fallout 3 in almost every way, from the music and scenery, to the variety in weapons as well as the main story, its all very solid. There is an issue of frame rate drops on this version compared to the original release, but there are some ways to alleviate the problem, like turning off autosaves and rebuilding the PS3's database every couple of hours.
Summary: I got this after I had played several of the Elder Scrolls series because I like the open world video game setting. This is a semi-science fiction, more cowboy type RPG that has really great gameplay. It's a compelling story and I think it was a highly entertaining 100+hours.
