Summary: Point Lookout is a great piece of DLC, it has a great atmosphere and story, cool new weapons and achievements, adds more hours of gameplay, and will challenge the most seasoned players, with it's tough enemies, a must download.
Summary: read it if you are new to fallout series I never played any of the fallout games. I bought it because i have some friends that love it and i decided to give it a try. I played the game for a few hours and simply couldnt understand what was going on.. or what should i do... I was completely lost.
Summary: The idea of going to the South seemed kind of boring for a Fallout 3 location. But I was greatly surprised at how immediately fun it gets right off the bat. It doesn't have the same crazy difficult decisions as in The Pitt but it does have some hard ones to make.
Summary: I will just put it like this: I was lost in Oblivion for months. Now I am lost in the wasteland of Fallout 3 and have been for months! These expansions are like addictive drugs; once you get hooked you are totally consumed! I think my family is secretly planning an intervention session...
Summary: Point Lookout is a very fun, creative, and solid addition to Fallout 3. The atmosphere is rich with detail, and the side quests are so deep that they could very well pass as main quests themselves.
Summary: My son and I play the base game, Fallout 3, all of the time. He has gone onto complete the game 3 times. We got this, and he took off. It adds itself into the main game perfectly and flawlessly. The overall play is just the same as the game, but a whole new area.
Summary: I purchased this as an online download. I played it with a level 20-30 character(after installing the Broken Steel download that raises the level cap), and earned about 4 levels while playing it through.
Summary: Simply put, Point Lookout is the best psychological horror experience I've ever seen in a video game. The main quest alone is worth the price of admission. I enjoyed this $10 DLC pack more than I've enjoyed most of my $50+ console games.
