Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta

Game Over Online
24 August 2009
  • Excerpt: It’s Like… …if the script for a bad episode of The X-Files somehow got mixed in with the Fallout 3 design documents and made it all the way through production without anyone noticing. Back to see if the fifth time is a charm, Mothership Zeta is yet another batch of DLC for Fallout 3. Despite a successful departure from the formula in the open-worldy Point Lookout, MZ brings back the very linear style of the earlier expansions.

Expert Review

GameSpot
6 August 2009
  • Summary: A mysterious signal leads you to the remains of a crashed spaceship half buried in the rubble. You approach cautiously, but before you can inspect further, you rise into the air, awash with blue light. Soon, you're peering into the faces of several probing aliens. Thus begins Mothership Zeta. This is the final downloadable content pack for Fallout 3 , and a rather disappointing one at that.
  • Pros: Interesting new environment to explore, Blowing up aliens' heads looks great, Some cool new guns to play with
  • Cons: Focuses on Fallout 3's awkward shooting, Boring mission objectives, Poor storytelling

Mothership Zeta

Britxbox
7 August 2009
  • Excerpt: Ready to go on an adventure with a Cowboy, a Samurai and a little girl? No, we are not on our way to pay a visit to the Wizard of Oz. Instead, Bethesda have provided the opportunity to explore an alien ship in their, supposedly, final piece of DLC for Fallout 3 – Mothership Zeta. The main quest begins with an impromptu abduction of your wastelander from an alien crash site (sans follower) whereby, following some obligatory probing, you are swiftly kept prisoner aboard...

Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta

Xbox Aktuell
4 April 2010
  • Pros: Interessante Thematik, Gute Synchronisation
  • Cons: Lineares Missionsdesign, Abwechslungsarme Spielwelt, Zuviel Geballer

Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta

games.mail.ru
29 September 2009

Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta - Test

Eurogamer
7 August 2009
Nein, eigentlich sogar traurig.
