Fun, but a bit dreary looking and baddies respawn like nobody's business.

Summary: After 20 hours of play: Pros: - Pretty engaging, I don't normally like rpgs, but this one is more fun for me since it can be played in first person and some of the characters are kooky. - I like collecting stuff, and there's plenty of variety to collect. - Build your own gear in the workshop.
Summary: It's a good product overall if the player can enjoy the game for it's combat systems and exploration, and ignore the sub-par characters and plot. Newegg offers this compilation for an EXCELLENT price. Super fast FREE shipping.
Pros: Good amount of freedom for a modern game. Combat is satisfying if enjoyed through VATS, considering the real-time gunplay is subpar versus other FPS games.
Cons: Bad writing. Forgettable characters. Bethesda did their best in modernizing Fallout and making it relevant again. Unfortunately their interpretation of the license is mired in goofy and tired 1950s cliches.

Summary: 5/10 - rounded up because of the price, $10, I bought it for. Great potential, awful crashing / bugs prevented me from ever completing the game. Got to the point where it crashed within 10 seconds, 10 times in a row after loading a save ( I tried multiple saves ), had to reboot the 360 each time.

Summary: This game is awesome and I absolutely recommend it to anyone. Only thing I would say about the supposed game of the year edition is: although it came in a sealed case and was a brand new game with game of the year edition on the cover, the actual disc inside was NOT the game of the year edition...
