Summary: A really nice hack-n-slash game that introduces the Fable franchise to children. It borrows levels and enemies from all the Fable titles and allows those too young for the regular series to enjoy the world of Albion. The game has a lot of charm: the minigames. the ability board, the puppet theatre, the adorable art, the collectable characters, the chicken kicking all serve to make the game highly enjoyable, and the ability to transfer gold to Fable =: The Journey was a...
Summary: This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After playing Fable 2 and not liking the ending of the game and playing through Fable 3 and again not liking the ending, I wanted to give the people of Lionhead Studios a second chance by playing the X-box Arcade game Fable Heroes. Throughout the game, the player is able to relive memorable places in Albion, such as Bowerstone, Mistpeak etc and not so memorable (The Credits).
Summary: A real disappointment, what were they thinking?Fable pub games is better than this garbage.Go back and play through Fable 2 or 3 again, that would be more enjoyable then wasting even 5 minutes or 5 cents on this.
Summary: Score: 5.25 / 10 Fable Heroes Xbox Live Arcade Developer : Lionhead Studios Publisher : Microsoft Release Date : May 2nd, 2012 Pros: Gold can carry over to upcoming Fable: Legends Simple controls make it easy to pick up Monopoly inspired leveling system offers an interesting way to level up Cons: Everything that makes Fable great is absent Repetitive nature of the combat loses appeal quickly Enemy and friendly AI are incredibly stupid Very short lived with only 6 real...
Summary: Six words: Like Castle Crashers minus the fun. If you haven't played Castle Crashers, then download that instead of this steaming pile of mundanity. If you have, then go and play it again rather than waste you time with this.
Summary: This game is a party game. The only thing it has in common with fable is familar enemies and chicken hatred. This is not a bad thing. This game is very enjoyable and for the pricepoint its hard to say its not worth it. Its overall happy back drops and upbeat melody suit this game well. It may not be everyones cup of tee but if a group of friends has this game it brings back the fond memories of the arguements over pizza boxes tha TMNT have started.
Summary: "Fable Heroes" is an XBLA action game, which costs 800ms points and mixes various styles, as Beat Em Up, board games and mini-games. It presents a cutesy graphic look, with puppets of characters inspired by the world of Fable, and locations of the game, but the features of Fable stops there. The graphics are hand drawn with 3D effects, and very colorful and vibrant, despite adopting a more childish impersonation, as in "Fairy Tales".
Summary: Nice little game. The sort of game that is just pure fun with a group of friends. It's based on the Fable world (selectable characters, enemies, locations and even some of the humor) but it's obviously not a "Fable game" it's just a fun little (and cheap!) game on the side. Nothing particularly innovative but still very fun to play. The soundtrack is particularly good, the same sort of feel as Donkey Kong, just for that it is worth the £5/$10.
Summary: Fable is one of my favorite game series to ever be released. The world of Albion is one I constantly miss after completing each heroic quest. Fable heroes, takes the epic adventure series in a new direction by introducing a totally different gameplay experience. Fable heroes is a 4 player beat em up that struggles to entertain on its own. The experience alone is very bare and can be boring, but with friends the world of Albion is fun to explore in a new light.
