Summary: It's a not a game of 2014 year for PC! It's a game of 2010 year for console. I can't even customize my mouse sensitivity and aspect ratio! Where is c u r s o r in main menu on my P C version?! Game saves only on checkpoints, what the ***** developers?!
Summary: For those who want just a simple verdict see ‘overall’. Gameplay Fable Anniversary (FA) has largely left the control mechanisms the same since its previous release in terms of combat on PC. In fact, there appears to be no change whatsoever apart from a mild change with ranged weapons. Moving from target to target using Will is dizzying and somewhat irritating.
Summary: No different than if someone released an HD texture/model pack for the original game. Everything else is EXACTLY THE SAME, even the old clunky crappy animations. Don't pay $35 for what is essentially a mod.
Summary: The controls, game pad or keyboard & mouse, are fixed and unalterable. Unacceptable in 2014. Two control scheme, for Fable and Fable 2/3, are viewable in the options menu. The PC control layout isn't available anywhere I could find, in game or on-line. Also unacceptable. The game looks good. That's nice but that's the only apparent improvement.
Summary: No control customisation available, menu navigation suck (REALLY substandard for a decade old remake), dont try playing that crap with a mouse ... In the end, give it a pass and give your money to a game company that deserve it (Microsoft you suck even more for not being able to even put in a freaking mouse configuration menu or a mouse cursor for menu navigation.
Summary: This has to be a joke. Someone please tell me the developers are playing a seriously out of date April Fool's prank on PC gamers? While the game LOOKS beautiful with the updated graphics they took a PC game with proper PC controls, ported it to a console control interface and then ported it right back to PC with a hideous console port controls setup. Seriously? No mouse support for menus?
Summary: So where do I start with this. This is a console to pc port it's not as bad as dark souls but its close. You can edit the controls for the game once you get in it but the navigation of menus require u to use the arrow keys. Also the old TLC menu is gone and it replaced with a menu that is meant for a console they make you use keys that are all over the key board in order to navigate. I shouldn't have to press "Home, End, Page Up or Down" in order to view my quests.
