Summary: After being a fan of Formula 1 for many years, the news of this game made me extremely happy. I closely followed the development and bought this as soon as I found it in-store. This game is a magnificent display of what a Formula 1 game can and should look like. It has everything apart from lasting appeal.
Summary: It's just a matter of opinion - I'm sure it's a good game but it's not to my taste. I've always enjoyed driving games, most recently my favourites have been Forza 3, Forza 4 and World Rally Championship. I don't take the games too seriously. I bought F1 2010 to have a go at F1 style racing, but I found it was a bit "serious". Too hard to drive, too easy to lose and ultimately I don't play it. Just my opinion though - if you like F1, you'll probably like this.
Summary: I'm fairly critical of racing games, as for me the current best racing sim is Forza for the X-box, and I really believe they should have had a better look at what makes that game good when they made Formula 1 2010. On the positives F1 is pretty to look at as you would hope, and the tracks and cars all look good. You "can" get some frame rate hits at sometimes if track is busy at certain areas, but its not to often to be really annoying.
Summary: Knowing that codemasters where producing this game, I was sure that it would be a success. GRID, the other codemasters driving game had been very good. F1 did deliver on stunning visuals, brilliant gameplay and real racing but I did not find it... fun. After playing a few races I became slightly bored and a bit frustrated. This is certainly a racing game for the more serious gamers but not if you prefer a slightly more relaxing racer.
Excerpt: "In my opinion, this F1 game is nice and I was very excited to play it when I first bought it. I think the graphics are stunning and the experience is like you are in the F1 car. For a non racing fanatic or a beginner like me, this game will be a little bit tricky as you need to master the tracks, know how to correctly position your car and control to avoid spinning. You also need to know the correct setup for your car to be effective in practice and ...
Summary: On a gameplay level, the game is just awesome. It never felt so realistic for me, to really be in a race, competing with 24 other drivers. The graphics are awesome, though F1 2010s 30 fps are not as smooth as Forza 3s 60 fps. You feel it coming, don't you? there is a big "BUT". Ok, here goes: The game is really buggy and this kills a lot of the fun you will have in the game. For example sometimes the games just freezes for 1-2 seconds.
