Beautiful to Look at, Fun to Play Once

Summary: OVERVIEW: The game sets us in a future where the world has been fought over and destroyed in a battle with robots, leaving it ruins. While I can't name any movies that run off of that plot line...I would have to say this seems like a healthy spin on that idea, as the areas are very alive with plant life, not burnt and deathly looking.

Summary: Bought this for the significant other based off reviews here on Amazon.com. Watched the entire playthrough and spent some time with it myself. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the controls, platforming, story, and gameplay were. This is one of those video game jems that most would just pass right by because it did not have the multi million dollar marketing that a lot of, lets face it, terrible games have in recent history. Bottom line: Get it!
Summary: The combat starts off as a "mash X to win!" sort of set up, but if you stop paying attention to all the other moves the game goes through, you'll find the combat gets very challenging ("mashing X, why am I no longer winning?"). Is the combat difficult once you get a hang of the tricks? Not at all. I haven't played it on hard, but still, no way this game will ever be Ninja Gaiden difficult. The climbing, while fun, is very linear; things you can climb up shimmer.
Summary: I appreciate games that allow you to be really cool simply by pressing X, etc (this is fairly typical of Ninja Theory games.) Not a overly challenging game, but very immersive. Really enjoyed how the cut scenes segued right back into the story; felt like one big adventure without a break in the narrative. It's a unique experience that isn't trying to be something else. Do it!
Summary: I was skeptical about buying this game. I played the demo & enjoyed it, so I bought it for 1600mp, ($20) in the Xbox Live Marketplace & I gotta say, I don't regret my decision one bit. It's one of the best games i've ever played. The game is something of beauty. From the characters/level designs, it's inviting. The gameplay is really enjoyable, the story is compelling.
Summary: This game really exceeded my expectations. I originally thought that it would have about seven to eight hours of gameplay, average graphics, and repetitive fighting. I WAS WRONG. The graphics are really good and it has very deep character relations. The fighting is fun (there is a slight delay from when you click a button and monkey does what you want, but is is very slight and you get used to it quickly.
Summary: This game is great, the art style is simply amazing, it's fun to play and just to stare at, the premise of the game is very interesting, the characters are lovable and you really get to worry about Trip even more than the protagonist. The only downside I see is the ending is kind of disconnected with the rest of the game. In conclusion you should get this game and at its current price is a win. You can also get the demo for Xbox live to try it out first.
