Summary: Koei has outdone themselves with this classic. The legends and myths surrounding the fall of the Han dynasty in second century China are entirely enchanting and Koei has brought to life and even now made into a more historically accurate strategy and conquest videogame. I don't think it defeats the purpose that the player has the capacity to lay waste to entire armies and opponents because, being a hack-n-slash, the game adds a sort of vintage "kung-fu feature film"...
Summary: I remember buying this when it first came out. Fantastic game. The controls are the same ol' dynasty warriors controls which is good IMO. The addition of running your own country is awesome! By adding this feature they really extended the game's re-playability! You can create your own characters. They don't have THAT many different parts to use but it's sufficient. The graphics are pretty, could have done better for a next gen console but they were still good.
