Another Great Entry to the Dynasty Warriors Series
12 May 2014
Summary: Dynasty Warriors is one of my favorite franchises playing it all the way since Dynasty Warriors 4. The Empires spin-offs have always been better in my opinion, and this game is no exception. For the graphics, there is nothing special about them. The character models are decent for an early 360 game, but everything else is lacking. The draw distance is especially a problem since you can't see any soldiers that are only a few feet away from you.
Summary: i now have this game for 3 years now. i am a big fan of the Dynasty Warriors saga and waiting for the eight game to come out. Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires is really good and i saw reviews that it wasn't all that swell. to me 5 empires is really good but i don't like how they keep on changing the scenery of the different regions. the dynasty warriors games are not for everyone but many people enjoy these tactical games with swords and stuff. if i'm a fan so should you.
Summary: I bought this game for the fight and war, but it seems that the objectivity of the game is mostly political rather than warfare. One can choose to battle but for the most part, it can be skipped. There are certain cards (literally) to be played that'll make the armies larger or stronger, or give money to the poor and hungry. It's mostly about building your armies and getting the strength of the people rather than the hack-n-slash I can get from Lord of the Rings.
Summary: This game was not looking good when I first played it. With no prior experience with Dynasty Warriors I was lost and there is absolutely NO in-game tutorial. But after enough trial and error I figured it out and I gotta say, while not perfect by any stretch of the imagination this game is actually pretty fun.
Summary: Like the title says, "What do you expect?". You pick a country and go from one battlefield to another slaughtering the hordes of soldiers and the occasional general. In between the battlefields you have some "diplomacy" to handle. Basically you do some even MORE boring stuff than wading through the idiotic sea of soldiers. If you've played one of these games in the series, you've played them all.
Summary: I bought another version of dynasty warriors about a year ago and I hated it. I think it is a preference for a different kind of game play since when I bought this version for my boyfriend he loved it. He is much more talented at video games than I am anyhow. The graphics and music is great and other than the fact that it is a little too entertaining for boyfriends, I would recommend it.
