Summary: It's a good game, and I really liked it when I was a kid But when I get older, I found out that this game is basically forcing us to do something over and over again It feels good to use the character to keep winning..but it's too much repetition...
Boring, repetitive, only for the Dynasty Warriors' hardcore fans

Summary: First of all easy achievemants, I believe I got around 920/1000. But the game is the same thing over and over for 100 battles. The graphics are decent and there are a crap load of characters but they are all basically made from same 20 molds just with 200+ faces. Stick to the normal Dynasty Warriors and erase Empires from your mind. If you're a hardcore fan you'll love this game, if you're a casual fan you'd shoot yourself in the head if it wasn't for the achievemants.
Summary: Dynasty Warriors series offer the same button mashing, stress-relieving fun it always do and this version isn't any different. The Empires version add the civil management element of the old Romance of Three Kingdoms of bygone days into the mix and adds a little variety, however not much. Diehard fan of the series would probably get this but otherwise, it's really just the same as previous version.
Summary: First of all, the game has two mode only: One mode you can choose your player as different character, the time as different history events to start your game and try to unite the whole China. Second mode you can choose from different individual battles in history, and just play out that battle.
Summary: Why make another installment when all you are doing is slapping on the number five onto an already done title? And believe me there’s no change to Dynasty Warriors 5 from four or even three for that matter. Dynasty Warriors 5 has no storyline unless you call conquering the 25 regions of China and creating an empire a storyline. The graphics are that of an Xbox game with no enhancements to it even though the game is for the Xbox 360.
Conclusion: I'm seeing quite a bit of negativity here and thats understandable i mean obviously you bought a X360 for the graphics and not the gameplay! :P This is a fair game not great by dynasty standards your better off with the ones on the PS2 (4 maybe). Without the 2 player mode its just a bit shallow.
Conclusion: like many who have played the dynasty warriors games no one could wait for dw 5 empires but unfortunatly it seems that nothing has really changed graphics seem the same the characters are the same limited weapons pretty terible character creation however the game is longer than its predicessors and you feel like a true hero when you have took over china but it has nothing what really makes you want to play again theres alot more scenarios which might make it bearable for...
Summary: I'm a huge fan of the dynasty warriors series but i have never been able to get my hands on an "empires" game and i thought that as the new generation of gaming is in, then this is my chance to get an "empires" version of Dynasty Warriors and see what it's full potential is. Firstly the fantastic story of Dynasty Warriors is ruled out as this is basically a attack anf defend territory game featuring the gameplay and characters from dynasty warriors.
