Summary: I'm a big fan of RPG's and fantasy and all that good stuff. I was a fan of the original Dungeon Siege and dabbled in the second one. This one has almost nothing in common with the first two. When first starting this game, I immediately got a strong Diablo III vibe. The best point about this game is the story.
Summary: i decided to try some games so i could play along with my husband and the kids sometimes. they play CONSTANTLY!!!!!! i like this one. i like these games better than the kill each other soldier games, mainly because i'm no good at them yet...
Summary: I bought this game looking for a co-op hack n slash game in the vein of Baldurs Gate, Champions of Norrath, etc. When things are happening it is quite enjoyable. Two players can play over xbox live which is what we were looking for. Characters were fairly well balanced, simple to hop right in, and fights were fun.
Summary: Dungeon Siege 3 is, IMO, 3/5 stars. The original Dungeon Siege franchise used to be a party based, hack/slash game that focused on highly customizable character and party selections; however, the latest installment was a blatant clone of the Diablo franchise, without the strengths that Diablo has. While it is still a strong installment, it does not live up to the expectations or any of the potential that the release had.
Summary: First off let me say that I have never played the previous installments of this series. I can not even give you a comparison to other games of this type because this is the first that I have played. Most role playing games I play are games like skyrim ( Skyrim is freaking awesome ) Oblivion and Two worlds 2 and the like.. This game is a more linear game than Skyrim or other games in the same vain , but there is much exploration ,hidden items and loot to be found.
Summary: Ok, i came into this game expecting a watered down rpg, with tacked on coop and a 5-6 hr story. What i got was a robust 24hr campaign with tons of side quests, lots of great loot, very good story and even what i can call the best final boss in a dungeon siege game. I was blown away at how awesome this game was, sure it's not dungeon siege 2 but i didn't like that game it restricted you on your party, the questing system was broken and the story was crap.
Summary: This game's graphics aren't that good compared to some other Xbox 360 games that I have. The intro is boring and I stopped playing it. It's possible that I haven't really gotten to the meat of the game yet, but from what I've seen so far, this game is very linear and one dimmensional. You just keep heading in one direction, towards one fragmented goal at a time.
