Dragonball: Raging Blast

Xbox Evolved
1 December 2009
  • Summary: Overall, this game does have a few problems, and a handful of them are more than just minor ones, but they do not inhibit your ability to enjoy the game. As a Dragonball fan myself, I’ve always wanted a Budokai Tenkaichi series on the now current gen systems. It’s disappointing to see this is the result and I think I just about reached my end with Dragonball games. The core gameplay is still fairly deep and rewarding, and the visual of the battles is truly amazing.
  • Pros: Great character models and graphics, online play is solid and lag free.
  • Cons: Amount of characters compared to previous Tenkaichi games, environments look bland & only a few.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast

Digital Chumps
17 November 2009
  • Conclusion: Raging Blast has a lot going for it with 70 playable characters, lots of modes, online play, and a nice presentation. The camera and controls remain the most concerning part of the package, but for any average Dragon Ball or avid fighting fan, it's well worth a look.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast Review

IGN Entertainment
14 November 2009
  • Conclusion: Visually, this is a near perfect re-creation of the Dragon Ball universe. The cel-shaded characters are sharp and detailed, looking almost identical to their anime counterparts. The environments could have been done better, though. While they don’t necessarily look bad, they’re somewhat bland and stale when used as the backdrop for the battles. Another major issue with the presentation is the in-game camera. It just doesn’t follow the action well enough.

Dragon Ball : Raging Blast

Game-Focus
2 March 2014

Dragon Ball Raging Blast (Xbox 360)

Gamesurf
2 June 2010
  • Conclusion: Dragon Ball Raging Blast piace, diverte, a tratti stupisce, ma non convince ancora appieno.
