Double Dragon II: Wander Of The Dragons

Auracore MediaWorks
8 May 2013
  • Summary: This isn’t homage, it’s a massacre
  • Pros: Catchy soundtrack, most of the time; a dozen achievements to get for the extremely dedicated or masochistic; graphics during cut scenes are well done; can play as Marian briefly; game is fairly generous with health packs and extra continues; a couple of modes of play beyond the Story mode that suck slightly less; it’s a two player game for those who wish to alienate friends
  • Cons: Sluggish and irresponsive controls; graphics are an eyesore with ugly character models and uninspired backgrounds; monotonous gameplay revolves around punching and kicking; AI can combo break; game slows down when there are a handful of characters on the screen; numerous clipping and graphical glitches; narrator cannot read own script; tutorial is lackluster and misleading; poor translation throughout; stupid subtitle; not a remake of the NES classic

Terrible remake of a mindlessly violent 1980s arcade game.

Common Sense Media
14 April 2013
  • Summary: Parents need to know that Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game in which players control a revenge-fueled, muscle-bound martial artist who punches and kicks a seemingly endless stream of gangsters. It's neither bloody nor gory, but the violence is constant and enemies often scream and yell when struck. Plus, the game's female characters are highly sexualized and wear revealing outfits that expose deep, bobbing cleavage.

Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons

12 April 2013
  • Excerpt: Double Dragon Neon (OXM Score: 6.5) may have had problems, but it still had soul. That should be a constant — this series developed a huge following due to its charm — but XBLA’s Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons pulls the beating heart out of Technōs’ 1988 coin-op Double Dragon II: The Revenge and stomps on it until it barely resembles the sequel we once loved.
  • Pros: + Occasionally inoffensive; you don’t have to start over after running out of continues.
  • Cons: ? How can you make a beat-’em-up without the ability to throw your opponent?

Shame Of The Dragons

Game Informer
6 April 2013
  • Conclusion: Concept: Reinterpret the arcade version of Double Dragon II in the worst way possible Graphics: Character models range from bland to gross and many of the environment textures are N64-caliber Sound: Crappily remixed tunes from the original soundtrack join new and terrible music Playability: I’ve never seen a brawler with worse controls Entertainment: An untouched emulation of the arcade game would have been far superior in this case Replay: Low

Test : Double Dragon II - Wander of the Dragons

6 September 2013
  • Summary: Avec Double Dragon II : Wander of the Dragons , c'est Double Dragon II qu'on assassine.

Il senso ultimo di Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons

13 May 2013
  • Conclusion: Ho giocato a Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons sfruttando un codice di download fornito direttamente da Microsoft.

Double Dragon 2: Wander of the Dragons

18 April 2013

Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons Review

15 April 2013

Análisis de Double Dragon 2: Wander of the Dragons

8 April 2013
