Summary: I got it for my dad for his birthday because he used to be obsessed with the original, he was BURSTING with excitement when he opened it as I had predicted and even though he's usually too busy for video games, he's made time to play it.
Summary: An older favorite first person shooter for the first xbox that I had to lay down for lack of backwards compatibility with xbox360. I didn't realize that it had been re-mastered. I'm happy that I purchased this and wish I'd realized it was available sooner. The 8 new levels are good, not great.
Summary: This is a classic first person shooter, and luckily unlike the awful Fable remake this isn't a remade game, it's a solid port. Sadly however, it is similar to the Halo remake in that they left out the best part, the multiplayer. Doom 3 was always a single player game though so it didn't hurt much.
