Summary: To start i want to say that as a child i was a gamer. like HARDCORE. Doom had brought me hours upon hours of fun and it was all i talked about. Now to own them all on one disc is amazing. I played doom and doom two for years until doom 3 hit PC. I begged for it and got it one year for Christmas and couldn't stop playing it i beat it several times.
Summary: I bought this specifically for the 3D effect. Unfortunately, there was a lot of "ghosting". Out of all of my 3D video and game content, Doom 3 suffers from the worst "ghosting". It is virtually unusable. Researching online, suggests that it may not be as bad if using a "passive" 3D setup. Unfortunately, I have an "active" 3D system.

Summary: This is a port of Doom 3 PC version with the expansion, duct tape mod, and a new single player campaign, now playable on the xbox 360. Great game. It also includes the original doom and doom 2, although if you install the disc to the xbox 360 hard drive, it won't let you play them.. odd, but since I already purchased them on xbox live arcade, not a big deal to me. You could always uninstall the game, and then it will work fine as well.
Summary: I got it for my dad for his birthday because he used to be obsessed with the original, he was BURSTING with excitement when he opened it as I had predicted and even though he's usually too busy for video games, he's made time to play it. HOWEVER, one of the times I caught him playing it I noticed what looked like a skip?
Summary: I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS SUCH AN OVERHAUL! I knew the graphics were cranked up a notch, what I didn't know was everything else has been as well. More NPCs, more ammo, more spooky sounds and noises as you walk around, the guns sound better, more demons to kill, even the level designs are different from time to time. All improved. Every change they've made makes since. Like the flash light mounted on your left shoulder this time much like marines from "Aliens.
Summary: An older favorite first person shooter for the first xbox that I had to lay down for lack of backwards compatibility with xbox360. I didn't realize that it had been re-mastered. I'm happy that I purchased this and wish I'd realized it was available sooner. The 8 new levels are good, not great. The even older versions included on the disc are superfluous.
Summary: My first real FPS was Wolfenstein followed quickly by the original Doom series. This port to the xbox was pretty much just as I remember from graphics, sound, gameplay, etc. My son didn't like the graphics because they are old style, but I remember when the reverse ray casting and sprites were cutting edge. This really took me back and I love just running around and shooting things without worrying about skill trees and such found in other games.
