Summary: This was what got me hooked on the doom series I was 7 when I started playing and I've been playing ever since I mean the game is awesome your fighting demons nonstop and finding secrets for a game made in 1993 it's really good and a must have for gamers or anyone who is a fan of fps.
Summary: The ORIGINAL DOOM! Oh my good, DOOM 1! Without all of these stupid Doom 2, Doom 3, Doom 4, Doom 5, Doom 6... All I am saying is back in the day, Doom the original was the bomb. I still love it: I have it on my laptop. Sure the graphics suck, but it is so addicting and fun.

Summary: DOOM was easily one of the most groundbreaking and impressive games of its time and as an avid gamer of over 15 years I must give credit where credit is due. My first experience with DOOM was so many years ago that I recall loading it up on FLOPPY DISCS onto my computer with a giant cold war era...
Summary: I have been a fan of the Doom series since I was a kid and they first came out for DOS, and I have to say this is the best console version of Doom that I have played. The game is played exactly like it was on the old computers but with the controls moved to an Xbox 360 controller.
Summary: This is probably the best port I've ever played of DOOM. PC fans, you guys will miss all the customization options. But I was never into modding so I really enjoyed this port. The controls work really well, and the multiplayer is a blast. With the recent sale there should even be folks doing co-op.
Summary: I had never played a doom game before I downloaded this on xbox live and I was really surprised by how good it was. Even though the graphics are dated, the game play is actually a lot more fun than most modern fps games.
Summary: DOOM still holds up as a great game on the 360. The thing that makes this iteration of DOOM so awesome is the online leaderboards. Even after all the achievements have been earned, its still fun to come back and try to increase your leaderboard rankings.
Summary: There's no question that Doom is underwhelming compared to more modern First Person Shooters. However, there is no denying that it is one of the most games ever released. Every FPS, including Halo and Half-Life, owe a tremendous debt to the game that popularized the genre.
