Summary: I'm a 24 year old male who actually enjoys games like Halo, Assassins Creed, Mass effect, Battlefield, etc etc. However, I have 4 2nd cousins who are ages 2-15. Whenever they come over I never had any games for us to play as a family to help pass time till they were picked up or bed time. I came across this and played the free demo on the XBL marketplace. Instantly bought it afterwards. It is up to 4 players co op which is very hard to find for the xbox.
Summary: Our entire family LOVES this game. I like that more than two of us can play at one time. It is an extremely fun game with lots of fun challenges. My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves this game. There is a great variety of characters as well.
Summary: It is difficult to find good kids games for Xbox. Like PS3, it is dedicated more to skilled gamers who love shoot-em-ups and sports games and have the skill to use the controllers without the need for in game instructions. Most Xbox games give you a quick peek at the controller buttons in the pamphlet, but not all do. That makes it hard for kids to use when they have to find those instructions in the game itself.
Summary: I purchased this after we tried the demo. My kids are 7 and 11 both enjoy playing the game. I love the fact that this is an action adventure game without glorified killing and rage. Some stages are a little challenging for my 7 yr. I rather him play something challenging than easy. I am not a gamer, but reality is the challenging games engage their ability to problem solve, increase ambition and determination.
