Summary: The game itself is great, so much so that I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for one major caveat... the bugs that still haven't been fixed. Day one of playing, the system completely froze after unlocking the first achievement on the first race.
Good looks & action for the off-road driver in you...

Summary: This rally-type simulation game has really good looks making it about as real as you can get for the money. My only on e complaint is that you really can't customize the driving aspects as much as I'd like & it can be pretty hard even on the lowest settings. Fun & exciting overall though.
Summary: After 18 months playing this I had to change my original score of 9 down to an 8, as this game isn't as great as GRID however it has way more options and modes to it. Over time the quality of this game wasn't as good as the gloss made it out to be, frankly I had more fun playing Dirt Showdown.
Summary: Dirt 3 continues the tradition of gorgeous and tremendously fun racing. Driving real cars on real tracks in disciplines such as rally, rally-cross, and the newly introduced gymkhana are quite enjoyable. What is not enjoyable, however, are the constant annoyances that have been placed into the game.
Summary: I am not a hardcore gamer, just a guy who likes to play video games. Dirt 3 is a pretty fun game, but there are limitations. The "Dirt Tour" mode makes you pass events before you can continue, pretty typical of driving games.
Summary: The physics provide very little variance. The difference in how the car behaves on snow compared to gravel or dirt is extremely slight, which can be counter-intuative when you first start out.
Pros: This is a great new installment to the game series with a lot to offer. The new Dirt Tour mode does a fantastic job of giving the player a gradual approach to the game, allowing new players to learn the physics before dealing with the more tricky courses. The graphics are stunning - the new locat...
Cons: There are a few faults with the new design of this game. You are forced into a car progression that is uncontrolled. Instead of upgrading your favorite vehicle, you have to go with the newer available cars to keep a competitive edge. This means driving a Fiat when you wanted to drive a Mitsubishi...
Summary: Dirt 3 has a wide variety of cars, tracks, and game modes. Its a fun game playing single player or multi-player. I have played dirt 2 and dirt 3, they are the best racing games I have ever played.
Summary: Awesome game overall if you like racing games. I only gave it a four because the cars seemed a little bit slower than Dirt 2, it says you're going 70mph but looks and feels like you're going 40mph.
