Summary: So you're looking for a cool racing game, but you want something different. This is the best rally game released to date, because Codemaster's DIRT Showdown has absolutely nothing on this game. So don't buy that one, buy this one. Split screen? Yes. Plenty of cool cars? Yes. Great physics? Yes. Best thing about this game is that by now, you should find it really really cheap.
Summary: Colin McRae Rally was a good franchise until it ruined by the gymkhana thing. it has a really good in game environment and scenery, But its UI and game experience isn't good enough compare to their own racing game like GRID. DiRT 2 is better. Much better. apart from Americans narrator, since rallying is so 'European'.
Summary: I am a big fan of rally racing in general, so I loved this game. The car selection, tracks, locations, etc. were great. Not too big of a fan of the Gymkhana mode, but the rally stages are great.
Summary: After running through Dirt 2 several times, I found Dirt 3 to be lacking in many areas. First of all, being forced to participate in Gymkhana events was a waste of time. Handling on the cars was less than realistic compared to D2. Having raced offroad for 30 years, D2 is the closest sim I have found to actual offroad handling. Graphics are worse in D3, also. Where are the rooster After running through Dirt 2 several times, I found Dirt 3 to be lacking in many areas.
